What a great week this has been! The world was surprised by what happened in Eastern Europe. New freedom has opened up there, and even the Berlin Wall, which divided the East and West, has been taken down. It has been amazing to watch. What struck me most was how people everywhere reacted to this big change. No one thought it would happen! When people were interviewed, many said, “I never thought this would happen in my lifetime.” It wasn’t just ordinary people who were surprised, but politicians, leaders, and even the military. Everyone was amazed at this sudden change Istanbul Day Tours.

A Spontaneous Change

This is very important. It shows that what happened wasn’t planned by people. It happened suddenly, without anyone deciding to make it happen. This means that God had a part in it. Somewhere in spiritual realms, where the great struggle of good and evil takes place, something happened that allowed freedom to break through! As a result, we now see a political earthquake shaking Europe.

The Battle Revealed in Revelation

What is interesting to me is that this invisible battle is similar to what we are learning about in the book of Revelation. This book shows us what is happening in this cosmic battle. And at the beginning of this book, the church is at the center, on the front lines. Let me read the words of Jesus to John in the powerful vision that begins the book:

Revelation 1:19-20 (NIV)

“Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches Abandonment of Laodicea.”
